This page shows pictures all made in the Altherton Tableland a region with mountains up to 1700 metres but it will never snow at the top only rain as long as I am in the tropical rainforest 11m of rain a year on some places only one a year in The Netherlands. And the day I was in the hills I got rain too that's why I am wearing my jacket nearly all the time.

Behind the plants you see a waterfall the plants where more special to me than the waterfall although the Australians think they have very big waterfalls but they have never been in the Alps in Europe where they have much bigger falls or seen the Niagra falls in Canada

Me in front of my room in the YHA in Cairns my bed was 5 metres from the swimming pool but I have only been swimming in the pacific ocean

On my flight from Cairns to Melbourne, a window seat at the emergency exit. Thank you Quantas I never had so much space for my legs before. And a nice view on the Australian landscape too and I knew where I was with my GPS in my hand, because of my GPS I could also recognise Fraser island out of the air
